Gimp to Photivo export and new binaries

Hi folks,
finally a long planned feature is available, Gimp to Photivo export. Now one can use Photivo as a 16-bit filter stage inside Gimp. A short explanation is here.
Furthermore we have new Windows binaries, as always kindly provided by Brother John.

- Portable mode on Windows for using Photivo on USB drives and stuff. When a file called
use-portable-profileexists in Photivo’s program folder all user settings will be stored inside the program folder instead of the user application data folder. The file just has to exist. It can be completely empty.

Thanks for this REALLY amazing software,,,, it works nice on my Ubuntu (tar.bz2 and your instructions are useful )... But I have problems with compiling DEB package ... has anyone solved this problem yet? May be possible to have among binaries not only the tar bz2 but the DEB package?

It should be ready for creating a deb, but I didn't test. What problems did you have? The best would be you open an issue for this at our tracker and we try to solve it together.

Thanks for the reply... Ok... Tomorrow I'll open an issue on this tracker and try to write a details about my problem while compiling the DEB...
IMO... for me (I'm a photographer) the Photivo is the very "promising" project in the area of raw-processing and will be very useful for our Ubuntu distro. New updated versions will be compiled once a month ...
Today... or tomorrow... we'll compile (and open for download) the special (second) version of Ubuntu distro (supports only Russian and English languages, with PAE and kernel 2.6.37+patch). This distro (Ubunto Go 11.01) will compiled and optimized not only for "typical" users and their needs, but also, for photographers.
Distro will include special installer Ubuntu Go! APPs, which will starts after the installation of Ubuntu OS and gives the ability to SELECTIVELY install the following software:

I tried "quickly" compile the Photivo's Deb for this distro but ....
